K2 Day
On March 6, 2008, approximately 40 guests arrived to the Black and Decker, Hardware and Home Improvement Headquarters in Lake Forest, CA. for K2 Day. The event provided the opportunity for distributors, builders, installers and other industry professionals from Southern California to see our world-class customer service center, industrial design area and state-of-the-art test lab, first hand.

Presentations conducted by the K2 Commercial Hardware team highlighted the K2 suite of products and Kwikset's SmartKey technology. The hosted breakfast and lunch provided the guests an avenue to network and have any of their questions answered by the K2 team who were dedicated to ensuring a valuable and informative experience. Thank you so much for our K-2 PK class. The result of your time has led us to switch from Hagar to K-2. Many "ifs" were still at question until we recieved the product. For example: the codes on the boxes are easily interpreted 1) which locks are KA, 2) w/ #'s corresponding w/ how many we ordered KA, etc. I can't speak enough about the packaging- it's PERFECT, making it simple for the distributer, and the installer. We've used many different commercial locks, and so far K-2 far surpass them. Ultimately - you have afforded us a better opportunity of success w/ K-2 as our commercial lock.
